Just read this post over at The Lettered Cottage: Layla shares a project her friend is starting. She is raising money for a community of roughly 500 families to have a fresh water well. It costs $10,000 and they are about halfway there.

In a season where we can stress out over buying presents for those who have plenty, consider giving (even $1!) for those who do not have as much.
