Back to Reality

I am back from my amazing week in Florida! Some teachers and the principal from my school went to a discipline conference (Conscious Discipline for the teachers out there) to learn more about it and ways to implement it in our classroom. It was a great week but I am S-O glad to be back in Texas! I plan on spending all day in my pajamas, only getting up to eat and do laundry.

For those of you who follow me on Instagram (chrissydj), you have seen these snippets from my Florida trip: there are additional photos added. Enjoy!

Our lovely Disney resort hotel: the Hilton (although if you are going to Disney World, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for your trip!)

But the big PERK of this hotel: It had a Benihana, my absolute FAVORITE restaurant!

Filet Mignon with fried rice? Yes please. 

Our hotel was across the street from Downtown Disney, so we went there a few times in the evenings after our conference for dinner and shopping (I'm in front of "World of Disney" which is the largest Disney gift shop in the world)!

There is an entire section devoted to all things Princess!

Glittery Minnie Mouse ears! (This is Lindsey, she's the 5th grade teacher at our school!)

In the princess section, they have a Bippity Boppity Boutique, where little girls can get makeovers to become princesses! This woman was giving us fairy/princess dust so all of our dreams would come true! Myself, Stacey (the 3K teacher), and Lindsey all became princesses!

 We also went to Planet Hollywood for some refreshments: Mango Margarita was delish!

 They wanted to pose in front of the Chuckie doll and then they made us do it too!

In Downtown Disney, there is a Wolfgang Puck Express with some extremely yummy goodness... I got the four cheese pesto pizza, yummmm!

P.S. I will get back to regular life/sewing/crafting posts soon... like I said, PJs-laundry-food is all I'm focused on for today :)
