Weekend Inspiration Projects

What a crazy, hectic week. It always seems that way when you come back from a vacation. PLUS we had something special pretty much every day (book fair, family lunch day, pep rally, grandparents' Mass). Goodness! BUT we all survived!

This weekend, I really want to accomplish a craft project for me. Yes, still do laundry, clean, arrange, etc around the house, BUT I miss my crafting! For ME! Not for my classroom. So here are a few projects that have caught my eye, via Pinterest, of course.

Thinking about jewelry storage in the bathroom that also looks like art :)

 Fabric scrap canvas art

I may also attempt a sewing refashion project out of old clothes, so you will have to wait and see on that one!

What are your weekend to-do's?

Sorry for the withdrawls...

It has been a hectic few weeks. These 28 Kinder babies are SO full of life and energy! We are all having fun learning together :)

Along with school being the majority of my life right now, we actually took time and went on VACATION all last week (yes, I took off four days: luckily we were gone on Labor Day, which = freebie day). This has been planned since April, so don't think I'm crazy! My brother just got married in August, and my parents just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary last Tuesday, so we all went on a CRUISE together! It was by far my MOST FAVORITE vacation ever. We went to Jamaica, Cayman Islands, and Cozumel, Mexico. It was amazing. And it was SO fun having everyone together! Here are some pictures :)

Setting sail from Galveston, TX!

They leave you fun, towel animals each night when they turn down your bed.

Prime Rib: my favorite meal of the trip!

My dad and I :)

Grand Cayman at night behind us: we had to unexpectedly drop off a sick passenger.

Jamaica behind us!

Tiramasu: my FAVORITE dessert of the trip!

Grand Cayman! We had to take a tender boat to the shore.

Cozumel, Mexico behind us!

We went to a towel animal making class!

So fun: I highly recommend cruise vacations! We are already itching to go on another!
