Change of Plans {with a recipe}!

I have Home A.D.D. Why, you may ask?

Well, while I am cleaning/doing laundry/organizing/arranging, I will for example pick up some things that were left in the living room and take them to the bedroom (jackets, shoes, etc)...

Once I put them in the closet, I realize that I have about 7530283 items of clothing that I do not wear, so I start to clean out the closet and pull clothes to take to the donation center. I'll walk to the kitchen to get a trash bag to put all of the clothes in...

Once I am in the kitchen finding a bag, I'll see that our dining room table has a few papers that need to be filed in the office, so I will set the bag down and start clearing off the table...

You see how my vicious cycle works? I guess it's an odd way of cleaning the entire house, sort of? I'll be focused on one task (cleaning the living room), I get distracted by all sorts of things and end up doing something totally opposite. Hm. I guess it's somewhat productive :)

ANYWAYS-

I tell you all of this because of my post yesterday. I said I wanted to make a craft this weekend for me and that I would share it with you all. Either a jewelry organizer, fabric scrap craft, or a sewing project. Well, none of those things happened because I decided to try a new recipe to share with you all today. Baha! So here ya go!

Mrs. Dinah's Moist Chocolate Cake {this recipe has a real name, but I forgot what she called it, so here's the new name}!

1 box of German chocolate cake mix
1/2 can of condensed milk {Eagle Brand, of course: you can totally add more if you'd like!}
Heath toffee bits {we only sprinkled a little bit on top: again, add more if you'd like}
Cool Whip
Caramel syrup
Chocolate bar (to shave on top)

First off, follow the cake box directions and make the cake.

When it comes out of the oven, immediately poke holes in it! Once you do that, pour the condensed milk allllllll over that thang. This is where the MOIST comes into the name of the cake. Also put some caramel syrup.

After you do that, let it cool and then cover the top with Cool Whip. Sprinkle toffee bits and chocolate shavings.

The end.

YUM!

This cake is so moist. Oozing with that condensed milk. It tastes REALLY good when it is cold. Is that weird? No where near the healthy range, but it is delicious. Let me know if you try it! Thanks Mrs. Dinah!
