Remember that St. Patrick's Day/Spring Wreath?

***See my "Link Parties tab at the top of the page for who I like to link up with!***

Yeah- this one?

I finally finished it! It only took a week and a half of me being lazy. The actual work took, oh, 10 minutes. Hmph.

Anyways- here's what I did!

I gathered my gear: cutting board, scrapbook paper, hot glue, felt, extra adornments just in case...

I knew I wanted to create a pennant-esque banner, so I cut my shamrock paper into 2x2 inch squares and my rainbow paper into 1.5x1.5 inch squares...

I then cut plain paper into 1x1 inch squares for my letter writing [I could have used my Silhouette to cut all of this paper and letters, but my mat has lost its stickiness and therefore my paper gets all discombobulated inside the machine and it makes me v-e-r-y frustrated.] Handmade, it is!

I used a green Sharpee to spell out LUCKY: one letter per white square. I then hot-glued all the paper to each other...

I used extra felt from these felt flower/button/thangs to be my banner for the squares. I hot-glued each square onto the strip of felt...

Pinned the felt on each side of my foam wreath, and I also added an extra flower/button/thang to the "L" side...

Ta-da! Isn't it SO cute?! Again, I was going for the popular wreaths now that have adornments on a cluster to one side, so I added the banner in the opposite direction/location!

It has been raining for three days straight here in TX, so I took these pictures with my front door open but with me still inside... Mind you, I had two very eager and interested pups at my feet just waiting for me to not pay attention so they could slip outside... luckily, they both are semi-OCD and do not like to have wet paws!

Y-u-c-k... the few from my front door. If you can't tell, it's disgusting outside... but look at our lawn! Luscious green... as soon as this rain stops, it needs to be mowed!

So who else decorates for St. Patrick's Day? I leave it all at my front door... nothing else really happens inside! Do tell.
